Chief Tecumseh’s Speech to the Osages (Winter 1811-1812)
Chief Tecumseh earned a reputation for his skills in fighting white settlers and the militas in the Midwest. He and his brother worked to unify Native Americans to struggle collectively against the colonists as they expanded westward.
